Positive Gun Dog Training is gaining mindshare across the nation, but it is still far from being an acceptable method of training in most gun dog organizations. Dog owners and trainers who explore modern techniques are often met with resistance when attempting to participate in these groups.

Can positive dog training methods stand up to the challenges presented in the field? Can clubs peacefully integrate members who don’t agree on methodology? What is the best way to approach these situations as an advocate of positive methods? 

Join Thomas Aaron (CPDT-KA), co-owner of FetchMasters in Denver and founder of the Positive Gun Dog Training Program, and Andrea Lamping (CPDT-KA), new founder of the Pittsburgh, PA, Moonwalkers Retrieving Club as they discuss the struggles and solutions for this increasingly prevalent situation.
