Kennel Technician

We are looking for good candidates to be trained as kennel technicians. These technicians will be responsible for caring for the dogs we train, as well as maintaining a clean, healthy kennel environment.

  • Full- and Part-Time Positions Available
  • Morning, Evening and Weekends Shifts Available
  • Starts at $12 – 15 an hour.
  • Opportunity for advancement. Opportunity to learn dog training.

Paid Dog Training Internship

Currently full. 

Do you have little or no experience professionally training dogs but would like to figure out if this is the right career field for you? Our paid internship is the perfect fit for your needs. You will learn via hands-on work with Denver’s best dog trainers.

Additionally, while we do not guarantee you a job after your internship, we do consider our Paid Dog Training Internship to be a major pipeline into our Junior Level Dog Trainer positions for the right people.

This internship provides the following:

  • A six-month, 10-15 hour per week PAID program of hands-on instruction; weekends off
  • Experience working with dogs of many breeds, demeanors and sizes
  • A well-structured curriculm with documentation of your progress
  • A complete transcript of skills studied during your internship program

Junior Level Dog Trainers

Currently full. 

Qualifications for this job are:

  • 1-5 years of professional dog training experience
  • A proven record of customer service skills
  • Acceptable work history
  • A proven record of strong work ethic
  • A friendly personality
  • A proven team player
  • Reliable transportation
  • Competence in training basic obedience skills
  • Competence in solving common, non-severe dog behavior problems
  • Good personal and professional references

Senior Level Dog Trainers

Currently full.

Qualifications for this job are:

  • 5-10 years of professional dog training experience
  • A proven record of customer service skills
  • A proven record of strong work ethic
  • Acceptable work history
  • A friendly personality
  • A proven team player
  • Reliable transportation
  • Competence in training off-leash obedience skills with highly-drive dogs in high-ditraction environments
  • Competence in solving most dog behavior problems, including separation anxiety, leash reactivity and aggression.
  • Experience in competitive dog sports preferable
  • Good personal and professional references
